Zerem completed the replacement of fire alarm systems across six Toronto Community Housing buildings between 2024 and 2025. The scope of work included the installation of new conduit, wiring, and fire alarm devices throughout common corridors and residential dwelling units, as well as fire alarm control room upgrades, programming of new fire alarm control panels, installation of booster panels, and full system verification.
Once the new fire alarm systems were commissioned and placed into service, Zerem also completed the demolition and removal of existing devices, conduit, and wiring across all six buildings. This multi-building project reflects Zerem’s ability to deliver complex life safety system upgrades in occupied residential environments while maintaining a high standard of coordination, quality, and code compliance.
